About Girl Finally

If I had to pick a superpower, it would be connecting with people. I’ve always been the one who “just gets it”—the girl wise beyond her years, the woman people come to for understanding, for comfort, and for truth. I’m Tiarra, an accountant by profession, but words have always been my first love. Writing and speaking have been my way of finding my own truths, sharing stories, and offering the kind of heart-led support that has always come naturally to me.

I discovered my love for writing in 7th grade during my first poetry slam, where I won first place with a poem about resilience and self-worth. Words became my compass through life’s challenges, teaching me that my emotions were more than just valid—they were powerful. Writing became my way of coming home to myself, and I learned that honoring my experiences was a path to self-discovery and personal growth.

I’m thrilled to welcome you to Girl, Finally. This space is dedicated to exploring the relationships that shape us—from romantic love and friendships to family connections and, most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.
